Despite the achievements it has accomplished to defend against the star system and against all attempts at domination perpetrated by the most dangerous creatures in the galaxy, the premiums hunter Samus Aran knows she is about to face a threat more terrible than all those she had already annihilate. Emergency contacted by members of the Galactic Federation, she learned that the Aurora 242 supercomputer has been infected by a virus of unknown origin, due to sabotage. Open from the beginning to save his own life at stake in this latest mission, Samus also knows that she will execute the directives of the Federation without asking any questions.

Representing the last hope of survival for all peaceful peoples of the stellar system, the woman who hides her true nature as an armored combination to suggest that his gaze fixed has nothing to lose. She must at all costs put an end to the activities of the pirates and thwart their plans for destruction by preventing them from corrupting the surrounding planets through phazon seeds called Leviathan. Lethal substance has already failed cost him his life during his previous expeditions, however, contaminates the phazon Samus in a violent face-to-face with her nemesis Dark Samus, corrupting our heroine like a deadly virus. Time bomb, this high concentration of phazons now threatens to eat his body to the point of no return. The end is near and that should give a positive conclusion to this final chapter is not known whether it will have the strength to go before its own annihilation.

Although visually this title is not out a lot of his predecessors, he easily convinces through diverse environments and effects galore. The universe created will especially delight fans of SF. Passing through the Wii for the gameplay of the series will be truly optimal. The controls are flawless and very intuitive, immersion is enhanced by the presence of movements directly related to acts of Samus.

We can estimate the duration of the game between 15 and 25 hours of play according to your way of playing. The most thoroughly searched scrupulously corners to get all the scans and the best percentage possible to discover the true purpose. Note that is now free to buy your own desired bonus (artworks, storyboards, music …) through the various elements scanned.

If, like me, you have to stop the evil theme of introduction to start the game, you have every chance to adhere completely to the atmosphere of the sound in Metroid Prime. It speaks well of ambience and atmosphere as the music is entirely at the service of the pace of the adventure, sometimes eerily quiet and mysterious, sometimes nervous and overwrought. The History of Metroid Prime 3 marks the conclusion of the trilogy started on GameCube and the end of a cycle that has lasted for 4 years now. The role played by the Federation and the presence of some NPC break a bit the feeling of loneliness that prevailed in the old parts.

If Metroid Prime 3 boasts brilliantly to close the trilogy of Samus in the FPS adventure, it is primarily because its passage on Wii allows this episode to optimize management controls by making them more precise, more intuitive and ergonomic. Gameplay is very classic and not surprising really, but it is still the best episode of Metroid Prime released to date on console. We are now curious and eager to know what management will take the series after the end of the trilogy, hoping that designers will develop a sufficiently original to deviate from routines established for 4 years now.

While the pointer of my word processor flashes before my eyes, I suddenly feel some anxiety, some fear. The latter told me that I could not find the right words to describe what I was invaded by discovering Okami. Thus, paradoxical as it may seem, the doubt comes knocking at my door just as many blank pages await my impressions I sleep to tell you my journey, the same one that made me assume the role a Japanese divinity which has been a difficult task to restore color to a world fallen into a torpor monochromatic. The exercise is all the more difficult it is a kind of homage to a still-born point that deserved its deadly fate. But this is not the time for tears, if not joy, because constrained and forced, I am ready to really start this test and tell you about one of my best gaming events since I looked on my very first Game & Watch.

Elevant graphics to the level of a worthy successor of Japanese prints, Okami succeeds where many have failed. From the first seconds, the player is caught in this maelstrom of colors, this waltz of colorful shades, this enchanting fantasy forms. Except trip science fiction end slightly off about the title Clover has a no-fault based on major works from the worlds of gaming and film. The result is a lithograph of pixels that offers the player the dual role of spectator and artist.

Apart from any difficulties and problems on camera during the clashes, the playability of Okami is original, profound and perfectly controlled. Leaving the player to handle the virtual brush to create, repair or hit, Clover offers a surprising gameplay which is added a search for weapons, changing characteristics of Amaterasu as well as learning techniques. Adaptation on Wii also benefit from the Wiimote to control even more precise even though sometimes we would have liked a little more flexibility in the implementation of pictorial techniques.

Not less than thirty hours if you press the foot carefully and avoid most confrontations. However, Okami is full of quests that ostensibly lengthen longevity base already appreciable. In fact, you can easily add ten hours if the urge takes you to walk at length the vast universe at your disposal. Of course, this last solution is to call as there is to discover and enjoy through numerous bonuses to unlock all more interesting than the other. With a spread of 4 OST cds (most of whose songs are to be found in the Bonus), the score of Okami is a fine and pure style. Eclectic and inspired, the soundtrack is like a real guerrilla symphonic percussion with drooping, its brass and powerful blend of refinement and musical clarity. In addition, developers have been very good idea to use a language consisting of rumbling, this avoiding the trap of dubbing which could easily have broken the magical ambience of soft.

It is difficult to comment on the scenario of Okami that does not dream the peaks achieved by Shadow Of The Colossus to mention only the latter. Yet here too, Clover has demonstrated intelligence by giving the title looks like mythological fable does not take seriously. Set Okami comes to claim a plethora of adjectives as the proposed venture is elegant, soothing, poetic, delicate, and graceful. Having cared for both substance and form, Clover has created a piece which should grasp its scope. As original as generous, as funny as sincere, the work in question surprises, delights, entertains and marks the meeting of developers with their audience. Twirling the pen, ink and magic … Unprecedented.

Too often adored and envied for their destiny out of the men elevated to hero often lead a life similar to that of the martyrs. Exhausted by years of wandering and fighting, he could push past his fight against the Dahaka and the curse of the sands of time, the Prince of Persia was an illusion to believe that he would finally know peace. But fate hounds brave men, and most recently, the tired hero takes up arms to face his worst enemy: himself. The scenario of evil Prince of Persia: Rival Swords is one of those who make you want to make a novel. All players who have overcome the hardships of the first two components together with the Prince know that we cannot forever endure such tortures without paying the price. Returned to Babylon with Kaileena, the Empress troubling time, the prince, nobody knows the name, discovers a city ravaged by war, a kingdom invaded by rivals more cruel than those which it has dealt so far. Therefore, the story starts quickly, leaving not even the soul time to break under the harsh fate that has befallen him. Victim of a conspiracy organized by a manipulative and tyrannical Vizier, Kaileena is killed in front of his eyes. Prince powerless to release the sands of time, even letting himself be contaminated by those who make the chew from the inside, corrupting his soul to bring out the evil that is in him and materialize in the form of sadistic entity: the Dark Prince. From a quality equivalent to the Two Kingdoms on GameCube, the achievement is as compelling and captivating. The opposition between the high and low quoted cities renews perfectly sets and the atmosphere that emanates from, and the animations are still among the very best at the moment.

In terms of gameplay, Rival Swords has a large number of assets that make the playing experience exciting. Impeccable handling with the Nunchuk and the Wiimote makes it more immersive than ever. The power of the sands of time, acrobatics, fighting inherited from the Soul of the Warrior, but the performances make sly adventure, including chariot races and confrontation against Dante bosses. The game has a characteristic lifetime of this type of games, neither too long nor too short, but enough to want to go without feeling the slightest fatigue. We still regret the absence of a progression, and the moderately interesting hunt to unlock bonus gallery of images.

The atmospheric sound has nothing to do with the previous element that had been shocked by her aggressiveness. Music is much better for the atmosphere of the game, even if the voices are usually silenced, especially during the cinematics. Even more than in the past, efforts to this valiant warrior who has felt able to defy fate and who now suffer the consequences. The secondary characters are few but they all have a story that deserves to be told and heard.

Because it is undoubtedly one of the best games in recent years, Rival Swords is a mandatory purchase for all those spent alongside Prince of Persia: The Two Kingdoms. The others did not find much new, but handling the Wiimote and the Nunchuk is so intuitive that takes obvious pleasure to relive the fascinating fate of the Prince of Persia cursed. Although it is regrettable not to have to deal with a new episode, the note should reflect primarily the undeniable quality of soft. From there, you realize that the title subjugates and impresses as much as in its first form in the two kingdoms, especially that he has really lost nothing of its superb.

Begin by the end if you want: a direct reply to the question of terminating the preamble to this test. So if Resident Evil 4 is still an excellent title on Wii, there is nothing new to his colleagues if not at the game console to own. Out of this, so it will still be entitled to the entire positive that this adjustment has the additions of the PS2 and PC versions starting with a game mode missing from the GameCube version: Separate Ways. The latter, like the assignment mode, you will lead the beautiful Ada throughout five missions. From the pure value added, especially the way that we proposed to visit a new decor and new looking kinematics. But before discussing this in detail, let us look at the original script.

If we can complete the main adventure in ten hours in all kinematic skipping, avoiding enemies and knowing the game by heart, you will need about twice during your first trip. In addition, add about 5 hours to complete the unpublished Separate Ways mode. Of course, the challenges and Mercenaries Ada assigment ostensibly increase the longevity of the title. In the end, we are left with a life span of nearly 30-35 hours.

The Wii version is the level of the GameCube version, with a good management of lights and beautiful special effects. The result leaves ruffled as long as the environments are eclectic (village, castle, sewers, island, base, temple …) and cannot tire the player. In addition, the bestiary has been completely revised and bosses are impressive in more ways than one. Regrettably however, the inability to strafe, to benefit current or heaviness with which Leon turns on itself. However, the Wii game is very good, what is more synonymous with head-shots easier to place through a shift in the viewfinder and faster contextual actions slightly more interactive with handling specific to the Nintendo console.

The sounds are realistic as possible, the English dubbing is in the tone and the musical themes are perfectly adapted to situations. Indeed, the music is sophisticated in the sense that music is often way to long beaches of silence, when the need arises. Atmosphere creates a clear sound that owes as much to partitions nerve tracks more than darkness.

WE cannot deny that the cinematics are beautifully staged, but the story itself leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Krauser is only there to make a surplus of action and if the game takes advantage of a cozy European architecture screenplay is almost identical in every other Resident Evil, Final countdown timer included. In addition, the Separate Ways mode does not really water mill. Nevertheless, I see the scenario of more RE 4 as a starting point for a future episode that will be worthy of this suggests that the end of the game

Difficult to affix a note to the Wii version in the sense that the game itself is nothing really new compared to other versions but that’s still good. If the main differences lie in the gameplay, which proposes greater accuracy if we succeed in taming the Wiimote and Nunchuk can also be disappointed that it sounds like an obligation for Capcom to offer this type of gameplay to justify the adaptation. However, at 40 dollars, one wonders what might prevent someone who did not touch this masterpiece on GameCube, PS2 or PC to acquire this perfectly. This Wii adaptation will likely be assessed as if we may regret the absence of actual new content, the small purchase price and the intrinsic quality of the game you should Mikami enough to take the plunge.

Since its announcement, Super Mario Galaxy generates almost more confusion than curiosity in the hearts of players. The system evolution at the heart of this might he not have to change, or worse, distorting the very spirit of the series and the formula for Super Mario 64? Legitimate concerns, but in vain, since the idea to move Mario in a galaxy appears to be the key that opens the very doors of renewal and that allows him to leave behind him all his previous adventures.

The space was the idea that was essential to put in place to expand the scope of our heroes, the land no longer imposes any constraint to a space that Mario is now faced with the most unthinkable. Gaming consisting of a cluster of galaxies, themselves composed of stars more or less close to each other, the first novelty is that it is possible and indeed common ’s set off a small planet to another within the same level. Action made possible by the concept of gravity which, by its mere presence enriches the gameplay in a hallucinating way. Exploited in a very subtle throughout the game, the gravity’s role is first to guarantee the attachment points on these small asteroids that you explore, from the tiny to those that extend to the eye. Like a Little Prince wandering to the discovery of beings inhabiting the stars of the galaxy, Mario surveyed territories much more varied than in all his past adventures. Current merrily around the celestial spheres, the plumber is often upside down to make that jump back or on the surface of the planet or on a nearby star which have entered the field of attraction.

There is no doubt that those carrying out to have surpassed propose environments such wealth and such inventiveness. The universe takes a perverse pleasure to visit some beautiful and sometimes repulsive, for a journey of astonishing diversity. Difficult to find better on Wii, although obviously the technical won’t impress hardly regulars competing machines.

The ultimate success of gameplay, here it is. Super Mario Galaxy takes the best of his elders while optimizing the findings using completely new. Those who were annoyed by the previous management manual shutters can thank this opus to provide automated cameras to a result that can regulars as impressive of its kind. The challenge has been carefully designed to satisfy all types of players. If the sixty stars required to complete the game in a straight line is easy to recover, the real challenge starts only with the research on different stars and comets is a real challenge even for connoisseurs. Redo adventure allows players to rediscover the game a little simpler but much more interesting than it seems on paper.

Nintendo continues to make in the tale for children, but the ambient naivety is essential to the magic that includes the game and it is hard to complain when they see this entire little world evolve with tenderness and sincerity. And when Toad and chubby-cheeked star alongside obese and fungi fur, it asks for. The 20 out of 20 could have easily become if the 19 were not already explicit enough to convince you of the obvious qualities of the Super Mario Galaxy. The vastness of space finally gives the plumber the freedom to express his talent by making gender a new dimension that will be difficult to approach in the future. As for the laws of gravity, they give rise to a multitude of situations that will surprise you until the end. Super Mario Galaxy is by far the very best Mario which I could play.

Super Paper Mario retains a focus on running the adventure, but separated from its background on the role play, starting with the fighting in turn-based. A change that should delight all those for whom the name of Mario is totally separated from the platforms type, which at least has the merit of renewing a few things. It is hoped however that Nintendo has not drawn a line on the concept of the Mario RPG, but it is likely that the next title will be rather light on DS. Nevertheless, Super Paper Mario is not just a platform game, it is above all a constant source of amazement as it demonstrated creativity in both its playful design and design graph. The result is very refreshing and proves that the field of video game is full of hidden concepts waiting to finally be exploited.

Having got wind of an odious marriage between his tender Peach, Bowser and his rival, Mario, burst into the castle of the infamous deal him for his account. He then realizes that he is not in question, and that the person responsible for the abduction of the princess is a Count Niark seeking the heart of chaos. Begins an adventure where unexpected plumber is going to be coerced and forced to ally himself with the formidable if he wants to thwart Bowser’s plans Count. No way to start such a business alone and the game includes no fewer than four playable characters, among which it is possible to switch at any time. Mario will be joined by Princess Peach, whose dress is still legendary office parachute to glide through the air. But the girl also has the advantage of being a girl, which could serve him well once or twice. Although terribly stupid and slow to move his heavy frame, Bowser will mean more or less office joker used to spit flames on the toughest opponents. Finally, while making a late arrival on the scene, the friend Luigi finds his talents as an athlete and we share his technique somewhat academic jump height.

Admittedly, the game is far from impressive on purely technical grounds, but Nintendo knows how to move the player without him pull the wool over the eyes. The realization is full of incredible visual tricks, when they are not outright tributes to earlier parts of the series. The gameplay is its effectiveness in the ingenious use of the passage between the two dimensions. Super Paper Mario is the first game using it really subtle complementarily between the 2D and 3D, offering a new vision of the game platforms. The change of characters and the system symbolized by the allies Pixels enrich much progress.

Allow about 15 hours to finish the game unless you absolutely want to see everything and collect all the hidden and optional items. Multiplayer options would have been superfluous to inflate a little more life. You will find immediately the noise level, with themes and characteristics of the sound universe of the plumber, even if it is not that great. More than the story itself, it is really absurd and parodic side of this title that make it completely awesome. It is one surprise after another and enjoy each new discussion with special attention.

Super Paper Mario sits smoothly on the podium of the best titles available on Wii, and showed such creativity we necessarily want to pay tribute. Re so amazing with the universe of the platform, the title gives us a whole new kind of approach, imposing a concept that no one had ever attempted. The result is impressive and successful control in addition to bathing in a totally pleasant atmosphere shifted.

It was discovered in 1999 on N64, and nearly ten years, the series will count as three episodes, each on different mediums. But when we see how it has evolved in that time, we see that Nintendo has made the right choice by focusing on quality over quantity. Super Smash Bros. Brawl succeeds an episode GameCube already very convincing and dethrones without difficulty. Just start the software, the player is literally bombarded by an avalanche of game modes, new to most, and can only kneel before the proper amazing range of characters available.

If beat’em is the ultimate player, Super Smash Bros. Brawl also offers a fascinating spectacle for those who recklessly to get behind the game screen and inevitably end up typing the lever, seduced by the improbability clashes. Still very nervous and chaotic from the outside, the fighting is still very fine for the player who has warned his marks on the previous parts of the series. In addition to offering a fantastic gameplay, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is above all an ode to the game in the sense that it does not only known series of characters but also their world and their soundtrack. Remixed by many different composers, these themes take on a scale irresistible to whoever heard at the time of the NES or Super Nintendo. With over 300 tracks in total, the pretty nice original soundtrack is also accessible via the Sound Test game mode, and it is breathtaking for the nostalgic. The most beautiful medley of Mario, Zelda or Donkey Kong alongside totally unexpected remix of the old Tetris or Super Mario Land, not to mention the lyrical versions of Fire Emblem and the main theme of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Never before seen in a video game! On a visual level, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is what we have seen more success on Wii since Super Mario Galaxy. The situations are so delusional that sometimes more time to zoom in to take pictures to play! If the general gameplay has not really changed since the previous part, there is always impeccable and few worries camera just blacken the table if you play in coop mode in the adventure. The GameCube or Classic Controller is ideal for playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

The app has so many bonuses, so many trophies, and so many modes to play, so secret that it takes months to play around. Nothing but the adventure mode alone provides more than 20 hours of play, it speaks volumes about how this title is complete. And that’s without counting the multiplayer and online parties. With over 300 songs to unlock the Sound Test, the soundtrack for Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the eighth wonder of the world nostalgic for the player. Between the themes remixed so totally unexpected (Tetris, Super Mario Land, Fire Emblem …) Medleys and transcended by the genius of composers passionate (Zelda, Mario, Donkey Kong), one reaches the pinnacle of what the music search fan of the Nintendo universe.

Its history is indeed so improbable, so burlesque, that has a desire, is to return to after all the cinematic scenes in the game … If you’re not afraid to spend the summer without putting your nose out because of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, do not hesitate. This episode easily outperforms its predecessor by having a monumental adventure, an incredible range of characters and the ability to play online multiplayer. We also appreciate being able to play coop on most game modes, and bow respectfully to the collector of the soundtrack of the game

This unparalleled quest, you will be able to live in two different ways, depending on whether you opt for the Wii or the GameCube version. If their content is identical, the gaming experiences they provide vary widely, given the considerable changes made to gameplay by the Wii version, and it goes without saying that it necessarily benefits of an additional attraction in terms of discovery. Nevertheless it was legitimate to have some reservations and doubts about the effectiveness of its grip bold and unprecedented for a title of this magnitude. But to be among the first to have questioned the relevance of the outcome, let me dispel any fears you may have about this. Not only is the unique gameplay on the Wii version significantly renews the feeling of the game, but it is also intuitive enough to be forgotten in a few hours, the difficulties of taking control that inevitably occur when the familiar first time with a console of a new kind. Thus, cross swords through the Wiimote is going to become second nature, like each of the actions you’ll be asked to and you will see how fun that can be feel when engaged in a video game depends on the immersion.

A very difficult to assess due to lack of reference in the sense that it is unclear how far can the Wii. But even if the achievement is only the level of a GameCube, the general aesthetic is enough to make us forget the few technical weaknesses. In a brazen diversity, the software builds on the best references (Okami, Shadow of the Colossus, Princess Mononoke, The Lord of the Rings, etc..) For a result which leaves dreamer. Twilight Princess was able to both fully anchored in the world of Zelda in the recipe for magnifying Ocarina of Time, while complementing the traditional phases of other much more unexpected. The best example is the evolution in the realm of the shadow through the wolves totally renewing experience of the game. If ownership requires a certain adaptation time on Wii, it greatly enhances the immersion and does not progress.

We were promised dungeons larger and richer, but we did not expect that they are almost overshadowed by the cult scenes which I prefer not to reveal. The hours pass a speed that does not break his attention at any time. If we add the fulfillment of countless quests, life explodes easily sixty hours, according to my estimates. Not as significant as expected, the music is a little discreet despite some grandiose themes. We discover a large number of tunes, all remixed, which should delight connoisseurs. As for Foley, they enrich the atmosphere, the best example being the Midon’s interventions that disturbs by its sly jibes and incessant yawns

To simplify the story without revealing anything important, be aware that the quest is to restore the light in different parts of Hyrule enveloped by darkness. It is very brief, but I prefer to leave you a surprise, knowing that the adventure reserve an incredible number of unusual encounters and memorable scenes.

Ignoring all the pressure weighing on his shoulders, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is indeed the culmination of the saga and will have no difficulty in gaining consensus among the players. Admit that these arguments do not weigh heavily in comparison with the memorable quest that awaits you, so you know if you want to participate or not. At once poetic, dreamlike, violent and wild, this masterpiece has everything you could dream and become the undisputed spearhead of the Wii.

We don’t have to introduce you Steven Spielberg, the great director who marked his entire generation of cult films such as Jaws, ET, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jurassik Park, Indiana Jones or The Saving Private Ryan. In the last 25 years, this genius of the cinema has become one of the greatest filmmakers of all time and has amassed a colossal fortune that he invested to produce new films and support educational organizations. Not happy enough with having conquered Hollywood, Spielberg is tackling now the gaming arena with the prestigious publisher Electronic Arts. So that logically could be expected in a project supported by a more than great realization, the concept of Boom Blox is very basic. And the most surprising is that it works wonderfully!

With the help of the Wiimote, we demolish or change 3D environments consisting of blocks. According to the tables, the player can launch projectiles towards the various elements or directly manipulate them. The controls are simple: we keep the A button to aim and makes gestures to interact with the scenery. The camera can be oriented as desired by pressing the B button. Ergonomic and treated very quickly (even for your oldest uncle), these controls are also remarkably accurate. For once, the magnitude and speed of movement are very well transcribed to the screen. It’s a demonstration, if necessary, that the Wiimote can do miracles in good hands.

The game modes are many and varied. In solo, the player may play on the Challenges Exploration mode. After selecting a type of test, for example he will drop precious stones placed on buildings, blowing bombs or chains garnering maximum points in three shots. Adventure mode takes place in four environments divided into three parts, introduced to various screenplay elements illustrated by kinematics. Here, it is a mother gorilla in distress seeking help to clear a path to his offspring. The player then moves the blocks hindering its passage. There, it is an army of sheep that must repel an invasion of barbarians. It draws on the opponents. It does not fly very high, it is rather basic, but in fact we can have as much fun as kids. The physics of the game is impeccable and the cubic design of animals is absolutely cracking. Furthermore, the missions are many and they have the merit of proposing changes in brighter gameplay. Thus, one must often use the special characteristics of blocks (ice, bomb, chemical, etc …) to solve puzzles or have a maximum damage. Whatever form they take, the challenges are generally easy to rise but for the gold medal prize you will need an outstanding performance.

Although the graphical environments and blocks do not break a three-legged duck, the character design is cute and visibility is excellent. The menus are however a few drafts. Receiving copies of checks, Boom Blox is quickly taken over and remains accessible to neophytes. The events are varied and fun is almost always there. Furthermore, the physics of collisions and the effect of gravity are perfectly simulated.

Hundreds of levels are playable as you grow and a very comprehensive editor allows you to build your own levels and trade them online. The many multiplayer modes promise wild nights with the family. The cheerful music fit perfectly into the game. There is no scenario itself, but small stories illustrate the adventure however.
Original and devilishly addictive, Boom Blox offers great gaming moments alone or with friends. Served by controls as accurate as thought out, this friendly game signed Spielberg clearly demonstrates that the Wii still has a unique potential for fun.

Finally, the best part of Guitar Hero has been developed by Harmonix. Because it ends the suspense, Guitar Hero 3 supplants its elders, admittedly few, but still. It must be said that the formula has not changed, not to say that it remains unchanged with the exception of a few discrete improvements and additions not necessarily essential. The first change in size provided by this third edition is obviously the partial abandonment of lumpish from the previous flap. Activision puts his hand to the portfolio as well to recall how the popularity of Guitar Hero actually an advertising and therefore unavoidable, we are left with almost half of the tracklist that consists of original songs, singer without risking a dangerous original interpreter imitation of the solo and without deviating a bit from our memories. The disadvantage is that by contrast, these times always seem to do most unfortunate that, inevitably. Composed, therefore, with security whose integrity has been little affected, the new playlist of the game is a pure marvel, perfectly balanced between musical styles and technical approaches. Rock, Alternative, Metal, Blues-Rock, the sounds of electric fan is not only spoiled by the variety of styles but also by the worthy representatives selected by and paid by Neversoft Activision.

I refer of course to the list cited in the news but how not to mention a few names at random when we see the classic rock 60/70 years represented by Cream and Sunshine Of Your Love, Seeker of the Who or the cult of Paint It Black Stones? Everything supported by Santana (Black Magic Woman), Aerosmith (Same Old Song And Dance) or Alice Cooper (School’s Out). Other beacon period, the alternative rock of the 90s where the Smashing show themselves “totally responsible” with Pumpkins Cherub Rock, Pearl Jam (Even Flow), Sonic Youth (Kool Thing), a rich fusion of Rage Against The Machine (Bulls On Parade). Closer to home, we rely on the excellent Queens Of The Stone Age who surrender their recent 3’s & 7’s or with Living Color’s Cult Of Personality. And of course, metal fans are not forgotten and will have the opportunity to ask their shreds on the handle. It will not take a risk by suggesting that the soundtrack of this third title of Guitar Hero is a success.

Some small changes in the aesthetic approach which one gets used soon. On gaining information on the stage with the characters, including secondary, more lively and better cared for. The addition of small cut-scenes is quite nice. The heart of the game remains unchanged, but gains in natural rhythm in its approach or its management techniques hammer on and pull off. The tracklist is a much diversified little marvel; we do not see what we could complain.

Those who wish to reach the peaks will have what to do in Extreme mode which becomes more and more evil, the less competitive players will also have seen you for the quality of the tracklist. And in the end, everyone will end up on the multiplayer, offline or online. Not only is the song selection a total success, but the game has the good taste to contain much of the original title. So, no regrets that a few times fairly poor (Pat Benatar or the Dead Kennedys, for example).

After the disappointment of the 80s spin-off special, Guitar Hero 3 is a reassurance on the future of the series despite the departure of its creator. Clearly the best part to all points of view, it only one thing to know: what about the confrontation with Rock Band?
