Well Microsoft still have the monopoly with 98/XP. The only other real option is Linux which I have no experience of but aparently is up there with M$ windows.

Obviously Mac\'s OS/2 wipes the floor with all pc Operating Systems, but who can afford a mac, and who wants to put up with any incompatibilities with PC based systems.

I have a friend who has been testing Windows Vista (beta) and he says it \"OWNS\"

well windows does have most control on the market and new windows one sound good and right about Linux being inpossible to use with most progmas but i looking froward to windows handing over the codes

Linux comes in different flavours... Most webmasters who use CGI will have used the Linux shell.

But the Linux I\'m talking about is the \'Windows look\' one with a GUI. (It\'s called Red Hat Linux or somthing ?)

Has anyone seen the anime .hack//sign? In it there is an operating system called Altimit that most of the world uses after a global virus cripples all OS\'s except Altimit so it became the big one to use. Well I know a guy who is trying to make a real Altimit OS. So far it\'s not close to beta but he\'s making good progress. I think he said he\'ll have a beta by 2007 so i\'m eagerly awaiting it lol.
