Earthworm Jim was a 2-D Shot'em Up/Platformer in 1994 for the SEGA Genesis. It starred a machine-gunning worm whose uniquely edgy style and humorous presentation combined for an amazing exeperince. Earthworm Jim had 3 games and was doing well until the late '90s when the publisher, Interplay, suffered quite a few finacial problems, and eventually had to shut down in 2004. However in 2007, Interplay was able to recover and has annouced another sequal to Earthworm Jim. The game is only in development, and there is no word what consoles it will be available. Can Earthworm Jim make a comeback, or will Interplay have to cancel it?

i think it will make it cuz it sounds fun
I am old enough to remember the 90's - but too OLD to have a clear memory of this particular game. EarthWorm Jim hmmm
I was wondering if there was a screenshot of the old game to help jog my memory?
Regardless- keep us posted Kirby if there is any news in the future about this proposed redevelopment/relaunch
