Do you believe in the afterlife ?

Another .. HUUGE question (a bit like the God post earlier)

I believe in life after death. For me I believe there is a Spirit world which every soul goes to and there are different levels depending on what kind of person you are.

Not sure I believe in a hell, more just lower regions where nasty people go.

As for ghosts I believe that some souls are either too scared to meet their judgment and refuse to go to the spirit world, or they get trapped on the earth plain for one reason or another.

well i think you right then are real i see one and i talk to them once well then said my name to me i hear of my flamily going to somebody to talk to then through a mediuim and she got everthing right she see what wuold happen to them weild huh

actually reincarnation is basicly as soon as you die you come back as someone else or an animal i don\'t belive in life after death becasue it is something the eyiptions made up so that the peasents believed their kings where watcing them from heaven or something!

i beleive that when u are ressurcted i think the soul returns into a child-like body but you have memories and knowledge of your past life!

Bleving in an after life imdatly defeats the idea of siance, i am reglous and i do belive in heaven which has many diffrnt worlds e.g. spirt world, arthota, etc... but beliveing in afterlife defeats the big bang and siance, becuase what happends to \"ghost\'s\" i prefer the term souls. what happens to our souls when the word go bang? do we rome nothing but darkness? for ever and ever and ever! i belive in heaven but other people dont its dont too your feeling and belifes.

Your thinking too narrowly... The whole universe is our world. What happends in the universe don\'t effect what happends in the spirit world. Science itself was created by man in this life/world. One theory anyway

I used to believe that life was purgatory (Part of catholicism, the bit between heaven and hell, people who not bad enough to go to hell, but not good enough to go to heaven, so tehy spend a logn time in purgatory uintil tehy are ready to go to heaven) I believed taht lfie was prugatory, and that we experienced pain in purgatory, as we do in life and when we die we don;t really die we move onto heaven, a nice little theory, but that was during my depressive phase, and many a few problems with this theory aroused, so I discarded it.

Now however I am not sure abotu the afterlife, I would like to think there is a heaven and hell, however I am not a religious so would not qualify for heaven. However a friend of mine suggested whatever you believe is what will happen, I liek this theory and did not question him on it. First of all I could never know whether it is true or not.

I think that there is a religion taht has got the afterlife correct, but I don;t believe any of teh religions mentions ghosts, so therefore where do they come in? I mean tehre is probably more proof that ghosts exist than heaven and hell!

i believe that when you die, you die. After all, over the last few hundred years, no one has officially proved any type of connection with an afterlife person. No one has been to heaven or hell, and when they claim they have, they would be injected and wake up in a mental institution.

I want to think that there is soemthing after life, but as hard as it is to accept, i feel that we must die in order for upcoming generations to carry on what we had started.
