i belive in god. i dont liek the way schools present it to people though. we arnt as regous as we used to be but people recon this is due to siance \"prrofs that he dosnt existe\" well since prooves that your brain doasnt existie to.

You may have started a VERY LARGE thread here... always gets ppl\'s strongest opinions this question.

For me I want to believe... the only thing I have a problem with is the book of Genesis in the bible (The creation). About the world/universe being created in 7 days. It doesn\'t fit in with the way galaxies, solar system is proven to be created (over a very long period of time and not 7 days).

But then maybe Genises was only written in this simple way to help us understand the creation (we were no where near as knowlegable/intelligent 2000 years ago). This might be the case for the whole bible (like some stories in there might not be true but are examples to help us understand God). It does say in the bible itself that God is beyond human understanding.

Last comment.... I feel strongly that no-one should reject Christianity if they havent even bothered to read just part of the bible! You\'ll be surprised how many people do that. (IE Dont knock what you havent tried to understand first).

I personally don\'t believe in god, but I have 2 close friends who are. I respect there strong attitude towards there faith, but I also feel sorry for them if what tehy believe turns out to be wrong or a lie. I myself haven;t read the bible, however I have always intended to. My 2 friends and I have often debated about religion, not just christianity, O can see that tehre is alot of proof taht back up christianity, for example something like 2,000 of the predicitions the bible has made, all of them have come true.

However there are many things that confuse me for exmaple why would god give us free wil, and then gives us rules? Surely beign all powerful he would know that eventually there would be soem sort of revolution, and eventually these rules will be all btu forgotten? Much liek today, faith is falling, and christiainty is dying down, the current generations are no longer caring about what could be more concered abut how they look or how much \'bling\' they are wearing, this is more than likely down to the evolution of chavs :<_<:
